Mike Levens

You would be forgiven if you thought Mike Levens was the creator of YTMND.com. We at WTF Game Jam made that mistake initially, which is how Mike got the invite in the first place. We thought about rescinding the offer but it turns out Mike is actually a pretty ideal candidate.

Mike has a certain spark, able to weave the internet around himself effortlessly, knowing references and memes that haven’t even happened yet. It is possible that this is how he tricked us into inviting him, and maybe his influence is reaching out through the web right now, making memes out of nothing but synthwave and a cat hair.

As dj://spaz he uses his knowledge of all things meme to mix music at clubs and parties all throughout Vancouver. Influenced by his nihilistic worldview, he reasons that if all of existence could be the simple experience of random mathematical equations, why not fill that void with good beats, a sick pompadour, and video games.

  Music, SFX, sound design, maybe some conceptual contributions & light scripting.

  Mike did the music and sound effects for a shit-ton of games.
