Who is Alisha Thompson? Such questions are pertinent in this who’s who world of game jams, and what is a bio if not a brief description of who someone is, who they were, and who they hope to be?

But enough with the who’s.

Alisha makes room for all sorts of games and nerdery in her life, in between testing who-knows-what in medical labs that I imagine must look like something straight out of Doctor Who. She plays in Michael Elliott’s D&D game with a character who is just as inqusitive as she is, constantly at the DM’s ear with questions,

“Who’s that? Why aren’t they dead yet? Who do I go to sell off this dead person’s stuff?”

Having never attended a game jam before, we can only say, “Who better to show the qualities and spirit of the game jam than Alisha?”

Who indeed.

  Medical Technologist at Vancouver General Hospital

• Favourite Games:

  The Legend of Zelda games, Bubble Bobble, The Last of Us, Final Fantasy, & Kingdom Hearts.

• What They Plan To Do:

  Working alone; likely using scratch or other quickjob software to help with the time limits.

• What They Actually Did:

  Alisha worked solo as planned & created a 2d platformer using Stencyl.
